by Tony October 25, 2019
October 25, 2019

Brockley Max, the community arts festival that showcases local talent, is facing a challenging 2020 after assembly funding cuts. A campaign to save Brockley Max and raise vital funds kicks off with a Halloween fundraiser.

Moira Tait, festival director, writes: An evening of ghost stories and spooky tales in aid of Brockley Max. Join us on Halloween, (October) at 7.30pm, for the f st of a series of events to raise funds for the Brockley Max festival and to celebrate the launch of our Save Brockley Max campaign.

Held upstairs at the Honor Oak Pub; its an evening of ghostly tales, horrorful stories and frightful fiction! Showcasing a selection of spooky short stories from the best of local writers, including Cherry Potts, Neil Lawrence, Mark Bowsher, Nikki Lee, Ian Richardson, Rob Kerrigan and Paul Batterham.

Tickets are £5 from Eventbrite. Over 14’s only.
We look forward to seeing you!
