Get ready for a fright night this Halloween season with Strange and Spooky Tales, an unmissable event hosted by Brockley Max 2026 that will have you on the edge of your seat!
All proceeds from this spooky event will go towards Brockly Max 2026, the community arts festival which will celebrate its 25th anniversary when it returns next summer.
“We want to ensure next year is a bumper festival … so we are planning a series of celebratory and fundraising events,” said Moira Tait, founder and director of the Brockley Max Festival
“Lewisham has some amazing local writers and our spooky evening is a chance to spend an intimate evening hearing original work for a great cause.”
On October 29 the upstairs of The Honor Oak Pub will be transformed into a den of Halloween horrors as six storytellers share spine-tingling stories about all things creepy.
Conjuring the eerie atmosphere from 7pm will be Ian Richardson, Neil Lawrence, Tutku Barbaros, Jane McCaughlin and Bartle Sawbridge.
For less than £9, this evening is guaranteed to make your hair stand on end so gather your friends, summon your courage, and book your tickets on Eventbrite now!
