Christmas cheer comes to Ladywell! St Mary’s Church is holding a Christmas market in the Therapeutic Garden and the church on Saturday December 9 from 11am until 3.00pm.

There’ll be more than 40 stores selling food, crafts, gifts and Christmas trees. Mulled wine and spiced cider will be on offer to keep you warm and lots of live music. A peal of church bells will open the market at 11.00am.

Live music will include performances by the Lewisham concert band, the Utopian Entertainers, Bonhoeffer Recorder Ensemble and the Vocallective Choir.

Stalls will include local businesses, craft jewellery, soaps, clothing, ceramics and lots of art. Volunteers who help maintain the Therapeutic Garden will be selling bulbs.

In the evening there will be a Christmas concert from 6.30pm until 8.00pm with the Sonnet Wind Orchestra, the Tongue and Grove Choir, and St Saviours and St Mary’s school choirs.
