Coronavirus crisis: Support local business and join the Great Big SE4 and SE23 Raffle

by Cerelia May 4, 2020
May 4, 2020

Inspired by the idea run in East Dulwich by SE22 local Victoria Rennison, Nicola and Amanda are hosting The Great Big SE4 and SE23 Raffle to support their local small, independent businesses across the two postcodes.

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit these businesses hard, being the heart and soul of the community and facing the most trying times as they battle through adapted models of operation or are currently forced to remain closed.

Through the purchase of tickets, the raffle funds buying products and services from these indies, to help them find their way forward. A mind-blowing 11,700 tickets have already been sold!

Both Nicola and Amanda are passionate about the community and the impact it has on all of us, and have looked for a way to repay the spirit – in particular for Amanda, who found so much support from individuals and businesses in 2019 after the birth of a very poorly baby.

The raffle has just over three days left before the draw, and every 50-60 tickets purchased sees another prize added to the 206 already on offer!

One of these is an incredibly generous donation from a local resident of a 7 night stay in a Spanish cottage, who was motivated to support their community here as well as in the village of Candeleda.

Find The Great Big SE4 and SE23 Raffle on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as @bigseraffle and tickets can be bought via the following link: https://raffall.com/15277/enter-raffle-to-win-the-great-big-se4-se23-raffle-hosted-by-nicola-johnson?fbclid=IwAR2EF-Cmb5ub9OVaBzcsuQvCPAS0lCu7s9JwiB7NwZOpgE2qDKp6fpbMBXE
