The Lewisham Donation Hub, a multibank serving residents facing acute hardship in the borough, is holding a fund raising event – HubFest 25 – on Sunday May 11 at the The Fox and Firkin pub on Lewisham High Street.

The fundraiser will celebrate the Hub’s fantastic achievements. Founded in 2020, the hub is a frontline service that collects and organises community donations of all kinds which are then distributed to those in need.

It offers support to those seeking asylum, the homeless, domestic violence survivors and many other groups. over the last five years it has brought hope, healing, comfort, nutrition and shelter to an estimated 200,000 people.

HubFest will offer music for all tastes – Afro-Brazilian Samba, Gypsy Folk, Reggae, Ska, Jazz and to top it off DJs to dance the night away to.

There will also be performances, workshops, fete games, crafts, street food, craft ales and more.

Tickets are £10 – book online at www.bit.ly/HUBFEST25
Fun starts at 1.30PM – 11PM (U18’s can stay until 8pm)
