Community turns out for a “spring clean-up” of the Playtower grounds

The community came out in force for a “spring clean” of the Ladywell Playtower grounds. Well over 40 people turned up to clear litter, cut back greenery, and throw rubbish fand junk on the site into a skip provided by the council. There are hopes a cleaned-up site might be used for events in the future – Brockley Max perhaps or a small market. Ladywell Society and the Playtower action group plan to organise further events and tidy-up sessions in the near future.
