Ladywell’s The Larder, the independent delicatessen, has been named best local deli in London in the prestigious Muddy Stilettos Awards for 2025.
The Muddy Stiletto awards are for independent lifestyle businesses in the UK and have been running for more than 12 years.
They reach over 11 million people and offer the opportunity for readers of the website to support and showcase their local businesses.
The Larder was up against some of London’s top deli’s, including Giacobazzi’s Delicatessen in Hampstead, and Stokey’s Delicatessen in Stoke Newington.
Set up more than 10 years ago by Cynthia and Katherine, both enthusiasts of good food, The Larder is now firmly embedded in the local community.
It offers a fine selection of cheeses and charcuterie, freshly baked bread and pastries, fruit and veg, fine wines and beers, juices and a whole host of other products.
Cynthia has been the sole owner of The Larder since 2019.
Muddy Stilettos Awards are known for celebrating the very best independent businesses across the country, with public votes determining the winners.
Established in 2011 by lifestyle journalist Hero Brown, Muddy Stilettos was turned into a business in 2013. Nine years on, it has 1.2m monthly fans, nearly 275,000 subscribers, 250,000 social followers, and can now be found in 28 counties, – and now London.
