Lift that lockdown mood with Robyn’s online chat show … for those who like comedy and are a little bit curious

Originally from the US, Robyn Perkins has been making people laugh across the globe since 2011. She regularly hosts various clubs across the UK including the internationally renowned Angel Comedy & Top Secret Comedy Club. 

Robyn, who has lived in Brockley for the last six years, also founded and hosts South East London’s local club Laugh Train Home. 

Since her Edinburgh Fringe debut, Robyn has performed at top international festivals such as Perth’s FRINGE WORLD,  Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney’s prestigious Comedy Store and performed in a host of countries. 

Her international success was demonstrated by winning Sydney Fringe’s Comedy Award in 2019 as well as a weekly winner of the comedy award at Perth FRINGE WORLD in 2020. 

In lockdown, Robyn started Comedy for the Curious, her online Science Comedy Chat Show which covers a new topic every week, featuring two guests comics.  Robyn has five weeks of shows starting on Sunday April 11 (Details below)

The hour long show consists of three stand-up sets (one more science based) along with an evocative chat and game. It is for anyone who loves comedy and is a bit curious!

Past subjects include: Fear, Love, Personality, The Autism Spectrum, Evil, The Class System, Bio-Inheritance, Artificial Intelligence, Accents, Politics, Competitiveness and more. 

The show is being featured as part of the Cambridge Massachusetts Science Festival, among other Festivals in the UK.
