Brockley Open studios celeberates its 34th year with its biggest event to date on July 4-5.

With more than 60 artists taking part, Open Studios offers the chance to get to know local artists and buy original pieces of work directly from them.

Artists invite the public into their gardens, studios and homes to see works of art from a whole range of disciplines – from painting, photography, drawing, printmaking, textiles, illustration, ceramics, sculpture to installations and performances.

The event is free and open to all. People can enjoy a leisurely stroll around Brockley and Ladywell to view the work of established artists, who exhibit regularly and have work in public and private collections, and emerging artists.

You can chat to the artists and watch live demonstrations. There will also be a pop-up shop at Brockley Cross with three artists exhibiting thier work.

The whole event is sponsored by local businesses including Gently, Browns of Brockley, Brockley’s Rock, Joyce, Brockley Brewery and a host of others.
