To mark the weird coincidence of the 6th Day of Freedom from the EU (or not), the 298th anniversary of Robert Walpole becoming Britain’s very first Prime Minister and his own 32nd wedding anniversary, award-winning Guardian cartoonist and long-time Ladywell resident Martin Rowson will be providing his annual review of the Year That Was through cartoons, chat, profound analysis and foul-mouthed ranting. Followed by a Q&A, be prepared to be shocked, enlightened and thoroughly entertained!

All ticket sales to go towards this year’s Brockley Max festival.

Martin will be selling copies of his new collection of poems- Pastrami Faced Racist & other Verse and illustrated book – The Pen is Mightier than The Words.

Tickets can be bought on Eventbrite
