Have your say – Community Day at the Playtower on September 19 with music, refreshments and video film interviews

The Ladywell Society has organised a community day in the grounds of the Grade II listed Playtower on Saturday September 19 from 12.00 noon to 3.00pm.

There’ll be live music, refreshments, and an exhibition of recent photographs from the inside of the building.

In addition a local video film maker will be there to record ‘vox pops’ of people’s hopes for the future of the site. Please come along and have your say.

Lewisham council has selected four organisations to take forward plans for the restoration and development of Victorian building that onced housed swimming baths.

They are Hackit CIC, Liquid Listening, RUSS (Rural urban Synthesis Society, and Turner Works. A final decision will be made by mayor and cabinet after a public consultation
